The entire band sounds like they are on something or its play back speed is screwed up?

These were super sick shows. I was 16, drove down from MD with some friends and camped in the parking lot. Other than the BTC, I think this was the smallest venue I saw the Boys play, but a mid-Eighties crowd of 8,000 was more electric/energetic/off the wall than a 90's crowd 28,000. Wish I could go back just for a few nights (or tours.)

I was at this show and the next one in Roanoke. It was a fantastic scene. The cops were generally chill, the parking lot scene was crazy and the band was very strong. A lot of folks said these were the two best shows of the summer tour.
I made a bit of a miscalculation before the show and temporarily melted my brain. Thankfully I've had this tape for years so I'm not basing my comments solely on recollection.
I do recall the crowd being super psyched, hanging on every note, more so than usual. The band responded well and Jerry, less than a year from his coma, was showing some life.
I regard this Looks like Rain to be the best ever. I know many will disagree but Bobby is laying it all out there on this one and Jerry sounds like the Mormon Tabernacle Choir.
Other highlights include a fun as hell Cumberland Blues. Eyes of the World has its bright spots and Lovelight and US Blues are both above average, particularly for such overplayed songs.
